In 1980, I found myself, a 36 year old, living alone in a hand-made cabin in the Arkansas Ozarks. It was a time to reach deep, explore the limitless road ahead, and to ponder the path traversed – so far. Writing songs was (and is) my way of learning about myself – and the deep woods embraced me as just another critter.

These songs found a voice.
They strut, they laugh, dance, fly, rage,
wonder, cry, defend and hug.

Two of them,"RIdin' In the Sky" and "The Gypsy in the Photograph," have appeared on recordings by Michael Johnson.

Thank you for supporting this singer/songwriter's journey and showing me that we are all connected, by heart.
